Lovely sweater. The cotton fabric is soft and dense but somewhat flowy. Looks very well made.
The fit is true to size with contouring set the waist. The sleeves have buttons at the cuff. Wish it was available in other colors.
Beautiful merino wool sweater. I love the waist detail - makes it elevated enough for more formal settings. It's very reasonably priced for the good construction and design.
I'm between an XS and S and got the S, which allows me to wear a thin base layer underneath while keeping a relaxed shape.
The sweater is high quality and actually keeps you warm (unlike sweaters you see from other brands…). Keep in mind, I found three main differences between the pictures online and reality:
1) The sweater’s most cinched part hits right below the rib cage rather than the true waist. I have an average/slightly long torso. Alas.
2) The sleeves are a bit wide and long. I have to roll up the sleeves, otherwise they cover my hands, but this is a relatively common problem for me.
3) The cinch is more dramatic and less gradual/slope like. The front silhouette will look more like the 6th picture than the 2nd.
Also, it’s important to note that the inside of the sweater is a bit scratchy. I have to wear a thin layer inside, otherwise I find the texture unbearable. I will still be keeping this sweater, because it’s so hard to find quality thick sweaters that are still fashionably designed, and the cinched “waist” is still a plus. I like to style this with a square scarf on the neck and will be trying it with a pin like the pictures.
This is the finest sweater I own, no exaggeration. The weight, the knit, the stitching are superior. I’m so glad I invested in this piece! It’s heavy, which I love for colder days. Only downside is that it sheds a tad upon first wearing but that goes away. A beautiful piece that I’m very pleased to own!
